My name is Yechan (Ben) Yang, and I am a researcher and an aesthete.
Originally from Seoul, Korea, and seasoned by California and Massachusetts, my creative journey has been shaped by diverse experiences across the globe.
My passion for the arts took root in high school, where I explored graphic design and photography as a newspaper layout designer, creative director, and photographer. At Northeastern University, I continued to blend art and science, designing for NU SCI, a student-run science magazine, and using design probes in public health research to explore young adults' attitudes toward climate change.
In 2018, I joined Give Orange Boston (GIV.O Boston), an international student-run nonprofit, where I founded the design department and later served as president. My tenure saw the evolution of design as a core force within the organization, shaping its visual identity and outreach.
Beyond my organizational work, I am a freelance designer, always seeking opportunities to merge creativity with meaningful storytelling.
